Description
Spaghetti Gragnano I.G.P. by Liguori are made with the best durum wheat from southern Italy and uncontaminated water from the Monti Lattari Regional Park.
They are bronze drawn to give the surface the right roughness that retains the seasonings and enhances the flavour of any recipe.
Spaghetti are the most famous and loved pasta format in the world, and it is no coincidence that their diameter makes them versatile and suitable for all kinds of sauces.
In the 19th century, the lazzari (young people from the working classes of 17th-19th century Naples) ate them in the alleys of Naples and so they became a real attraction for the city.
They were first christened ‘spaghetti’ in 1842 by Antonio Viviani (Neapolitan poet and playwright) because they resembled pieces of spaghi (string).
Now Spaghetti Liguori are even more ecological because they come in a new pack made of certified recyclable paper.
