Description

The Trapanese Pesto with red Garlic from Nubia “Villa Reale Suprême” from Campo d’Oro is made according to the Sicilian tradition, with dried tomatoes, almonds, basil and with the addition of Nubia Red Garlic.
This special garlic, typical for its purple red color, is grown in clayey and slightly saline soils within the Saline di Trapani and Paceco Nature Reserve (WWF).
Due to its typicality it is recognized as a Slow Food presidium.
The aroma of Nubia Red Garlic is intense, but at the same time it is very delicate and digestible.
It goes very well with Trapanese Pesto, to which it gives an extra touch of Sicilian typicality.
The Trapanese Pesto with red Garlic from Nubia “Villa Reale Suprême” from Campo d’Oro is delicious with pasta, on toasted bread with a drizzle of evo oil and basil or to enhance meat-based main courses.
